The Development

Made with a different point of view

Built in 1893, Parkview was originally a Victorian school building with stunning panoramic views across the Tay. Today, inspired by that grade B listed building’s towering height, characterful style and devotion to green space; the school and surrounding grounds have been reinvented for modern living.

Welcome to Parkview. 45 uniquely designed homes.

Here, new home owners will get far more than a west-end address with history. The selection of homes now available are thoughtfully designed with some luxuriating in full-height glazing, while others have airy, full-volume ceilings, or enjoy stunning views of the River Tay and surrounding natural beauty. Each, though, has a unique place in this uplifting development.

The Vision

Architects, Page\Park, have a reputation for delivering sensitive interpretations of historic settings. Here, they’ve created something with its origin in the past but its design firmly in the present.

Being faithful to the intention of the original building and grounds – but boldly reworking it around the 21st Century people who’ll inhabit it; there are landscaped communal courtyards, with a canopy uniting the past and present of the former school building and radical, new, linear buildings inspired by the towers and scale of the historic school. And all designed with a consideration for context and an eye for fusing materials such as stone, timber and contemporary zinc.

This isn’t just a typical and respectful encircling of a masterful local landmark. Parkview has been built from a different point of view. A bold view: This is a spectacular but sympathetic reworking of a great asset into contemporary and considered homes.
